The slide clip has the BENNETT PAT. PEND C-31 stamp on it, which means the slide was probably made between 1957 and 1967. This piece weighs 52.8 grams, and it's 3 3/8" tall by 2 3/16" wide (at its widest point). The leather cord (new) is about 45" long including the 2 3/8" tips. The tips have little loops in the ends for dangles, which can be easily cut off if you choose not to add dangles. This piece appears to have been polished to a shine by the previous owner, and match the shiny new tips. Superb craftsmanship in traditional Zuni style. Note: Some of the stones have natural inclusions as well as light, superficial hairlines due to wear, not uncommon in old pre-owned items. All stones are, however, secure in their channels and bezel.
