Old Zuni antelope dancer kachina bust stone-on-stone inlay Sterling silver bolo tie, unmarked, but most likely by a Zuni artist. This outstanding antelope dancer kachina bolo tie showcases a superb stone-on-stone inlay mosaic of green turquoise, coral, mother of pearl, jet, and possibly green shell in the center. The mosaic is set in a rustic smooth bezel slide with a silver strand of flat beads adorning the bottom of the bust. The slide clip has the BENNETT PAT. PEND C-31 stamp on it, which means the slide was probably made between 1957 and 1967.This piece weighs 39 grams, and it's just over 2 1/2" tall by 1 7/8" wide (at its widest point). The leather cord measures approximately 37 1/2, and appears to be intact despite uniform signs of wear. Nice patina on slide and tips. Superb craftsmanship in traditional Zuni style. Note: The jet inlaid in the bust of the kachina has a superficial hairline. Thank you for supporting authentic Native American art.
